The answers include being fitter and stronger butalso in using the most appropriate sports equipment.The influence of equipmentdesign and the materials used have long been claimed to have a dramatic effecton sporting performance.In this talk Dr Claire Davis will investigate the influence of design and materials on various aspects of sporting performance,including perception,safety and marketing.
