This Wednesday and Thursday Chris Budd (University of Bath) will lecture for the Millennium Mathematics Project at Cambridge University on Maths and the Fight Against Crime. If you're in Cambridge, visit mmp.maths.org to get a free ticket. A little piece of science news appeared on BlueSci news the other day. To find out more about how a monitoring system trialled at Papworth Hospital could quickly identify failing doctors, as well as doctors who deliberately harm their patients, read the article here.
