The BA

The BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) is a charity which exists to advance the public understanding, accessibility and accountability of the sciences and engineering. The website of The BA is here.

Visiting the BA Festival is a key event in the ScienceLive calendar of events, and ScienceLive has been broadcasting from the BA Festival since 2005. A key event and time-honoured tradition of the BA Festival each year are the Award Lectures. As part of the webcasting, ScienceLive has been following these lectures. We usually catch up with the lecturer for an interview too. The lecture can be accessed below. For more content from the BA Festivals, please visit our video archive.
